Your contribution can help keep Starling Sessions running
We want to keep Starling Sessions free for all to attend. We believe money should not be a barrier to making music, and bringing money into the music-making spoils the fun. So, our sessions are funded through grants and donations, to keep them free for participants at the point of access. We have had generous support from Oxford City Council, Oxford Contemporary Music and Oxfordshire Community Foundation so far, but grant funding can only take us so far.
Every penny donated will go straight back into delivering more sessions and allowing more people to make more music. Thank you!
The experience of living in a foreign land is alienating….this group does so much to salve that by connecting us to others who find the local stuff strange and by giving us an outlet where we can bring parts of our home alive. It’s just so great to have a community which is accepting of these differences and you guys have really made Oxford more welcoming and home for all of us.
